Recognised as one of the last cultural bastions, our Hauraki marae are supported by this grant. Hauraki Marae Development Grants are available for heritage conservation, structural (interior and exterior), health and safety and equipment requirements.

Grants are available to Marae that affiliate to one or more of the Iwi of Hauraki. Priority will be given to those projects that demonstrate collaboration with and financial commitment from other funding agencies to complete the project.

Applications for a grant are sought once a year with the opening & closing dates advertised through our media. There are specific conditions associalted to the grant. More information is available by clicking the link below:
